Welcome!

Hi, I’m Diane! I started   Be Bold Be Well   as a modern-day journal—part   letters & legacy   for my daughters, part space to share the lessons I’ve learned about living with intention. Over time, it’s grown into a place where I connect with other women and moms who want to feel confident, healthy, and supported. Letters & Legacy  → personal reflections and stories for my girls (and maybe you, too) can look back on for inspiration. Wellness for Moms → realistic self-care, routines, and mindset shifts for busy seasons of life. Skincare Simplified  → clean beauty made easy, with tips and swaps that actually work.   At its essence, this blog is about living boldly, caring for yourself well, and leaving a legacy that matters. 💛

This post is in a pinkish color due to it being Breast Cancer Awareness month, plus it can fit well with the tile of the post *SHE*

We are complex human beings, therefore communicating with one another is not a straight line. It's especially more difficult with our loved ones because we have attachment and feelings involved. I came up with this easy to remember acronym that can be a great tool in communicating.

See, Hear & Empathize.

See -  See people for who they are. Be respectful and accepting of their likes, dislikes, opinions, style, beliefs etc.

Hear - Hear what others have to say, you don't have to agree but everyone deserves to be heard and express their feelings. Listen to what they have to say and most importantly pay attention to what they are feeling. If you are not sure, ask them.

Empathize - Put yourself in their place. Really try to understand. What are they feeling? What do you think they are feeling? How would you feel?
