The Double Cleanse - Why you need it.

 


Throughout the day, our skin collects more than just makeup, sunscreen, and skincare products—it also picks up sweat, dust, and environmental pollutants.


That’s why double cleansing is SO beneficial. Not only does it remove the buildup from the day, but it also gives you a chance to unwind with a mini aroma-facial massage.


Step 1: Start with an oil-based cleanser or cleansing balm (here’s my favorite Oil Cleanser). Massage it gently into your skin for 1–2 minutes. Use circular motions for relaxation or upward/outward strokes for a lymphatic massage, then rinse or wipe away with a soft cloth. The oil will melt away makeup, sunscreen, and debris.


Step 2: Follow with a gel or foaming cleanser (here are two of my favorites - gel cleanser / foaming cleanser). This step washes away the impurities lifted by the first cleanse, leaving your skin truly clean and fresh.


By thoroughly cleansing and unclogging pores, double cleansing helps prevent buildup, blackheads, and breakouts. PLUS -  it preps your skin as a clean canvas so your serums and moisturizers can absorb deeply and work more effectively.
